Conference on the Art of Creativity

Creativity, what favours it ? What hinders it ? What are the typical individual or organizational behaviours that contribute to the expression or the inhibition of creativity ?

Our conference (a duration of 1 hours to 3 hours) covers different topics related to creativity such as :

  • The myths around the creative process (or lack thereof!);

  • The pillars of creativity;

  • The “Great Creativity Ballets” (“Brain fills” and “Brain Dumps”, hyper and hypo frontality, rigorous analysis and appearance of chaos, etc.);

  • The benefits of adopting a Growth Mindset and Beginner’s Mind;

  • The concepts of the “Fragile Little Duck” and the Minimum Viable Product;

  • The beneficial effects of constraints in creativity;

  • The necessary periods of disconnection and incubation;

  • Why is failure important ? (Or the iterative nature of the creative process);

  • The importance of data and how to carefully navigate when data is not yet available;

  • The concept of “Human Synapses”;

  • Learn how to be prepared in order to seize opportunities;

And much more !

 Creative Team Building

A 3.5 hours team building activity that combines intuitive and rational approaches with both physical and mental activities, in which participants will explore and discover their individual creativity and the creativity of a group, working on a problem they have collectively decided to tackle.

At the end of the activity, the participant will learn:

  • Breathing and grounding exercises meant to improve attention, awareness and presence;

  • To gently experience our ego and its resistance to change, to uncertainty;

  • To be go beyond our comfort zone and migrate towards the learning zone;

  • Creative tools to better brainstorm;

  • To protect the “Fragile Little Duck” and its potential in order to avoid crushing it by the weight of premature metrics;

  • To understand the impact of our state of mind on creativity and our capacity to be catalysts within a group;

  • To be creative with real constraints but also learn to deal with assumed or self-imposed ones;

  • Use storytelling techniques to better articulate the story of the fragile little duck(s) they have come up with at the end of the activity
